Configure Office 365 account access¶
Using Evolution¶
install evolution and Exchange Web Service¶
sudo apt update
sudo apt install evolution evolution-ews
Create your account¶

- Launch or open the
Evolutionapplication - If this is a new installation you will be prompted to enter your email information, otherwise to add a new account by going to
Edit|Preferencesand chooseAddfrom theMail Accounts menu. - Click
Next - Enter your
nameas you'd like it to appear and your primary email address "name@domain.ext" for Email Address, then click Next - Click the
Skip button(or wait some minutes that autodetect fails) -
On the resulting window, enter the following information for each field:

Server Type:
Exchange Web Services - Username:
your primary email addressi.e. name@partners.org -
Host URL:
https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx -
Click
Fetch URLYou will be prompted for your password. Type it. Host URLandOAB URLshould be successfully discovered. ClickNext- Click
Nextto acceptReceiving Options - Enter any name for the
account name, and clickNext - Click
Apply - If prompted, enter your Partners password once more and click
OK - Setup is complete. Email and calendar data will take some time to sync.
Using Thunderbird¶
There is 2 options:

Changing User agent in Thunderbird
If your company uses checks on OS "for security" purpose (What the Fork???), it's easy to change the user agent inside thunderbird: simply add this key in your advanced settings general.useragent.override (type string) with the user agent value you want.
